Our vision is to develop FST into a quality-driven, research-oriented, innovative, industry-connected, and socially responsive academic faculty. We will focus on curriculum modernization, outcome-based education, innovative teaching-learning practices, and effective quality assurance to enhance the quality and relevance of academic programs.
Research and innovation will be central to our future direction. We will promote collaborative and interdisciplinary research, strengthen research infrastructure, expand partnerships with universities, industries, government agencies, and development organizations, and develop academic programs in emerging and priority areas. We will also strengthen postgraduate and doctoral education and encourage greater faculty and student engagement in research and innovation.
We will give priority to human resource development, laboratory and digital infrastructure, student development, employability, and community engagement, ensuring that our graduates possess relevant knowledge, practical skills, professional ethics, and social responsibility. Achieving these objectives requires collective effort and meaningful partnerships. I warmly invite students, researchers, faculty members, academic institutions, industries, government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to collaborate with FST in academic development, research and innovation, quality enhancement, and community engagement. Together, we can expand opportunities, address emerging challenges, and strengthen FST as a center of academic excellence, research, and innovation.
