I am greatly privileged to lead Pokhara University and work towards a clear vision, mission, goals, and strategies to benefit our
community and the nation. Since its establishment in 1997, Pokhara University has been contributing significantly to the production of skilled and competent graduates. It also aims to provide quality technical and professional education through the active participation of the public and private sectors. I pledge to work to fulfill this goal. I look forward to the support and cooperation of all the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and stakeholders in this endeavor.
In the present-day global higher education scenario, where rapid changes are taking place, knowledge, technology, artificial intelligence, research, innovation, and international cooperation all play vital roles. In this context, Pokhara University must also keep pace with these changes. To achieve this, it is necessary to become a trusted, research-oriented, student-friendly, and internationally respected university. I invite all stakeholders to work together.
As Vice Chancellor, I will be guided by some fundamental principles: good governance, transparency, accountability, evidence-based decision-making, participatory leadership, and effective execution. I am confident that if we work in accordance with these principles, the university will gain significant momentum through the active participation of all stakeholders.
We have the potential, the capacity, and the opportunity. What we need now is a shared vision, determination, and disciplined execution. Let us all work together to make a sincere commitment to transforming Pokhara University to meet the changing needs of society. I warmly welcome all stakeholders to Pokhara University.
