The Chancellor, typically the Prime Minister of Nepal, serves as the ceremonial head of the university, while the Minister of Education acts as the Pro-Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor, appointed by the Chancellor, is the principal executive officer overseeing the university’s administration and academic activities. The Registrar supports financial management and administrative tasks. Additionally, several councils, including the University Senate and Academic Council, assist in policy formulation and decision-making.
