Pokhara University is an established university with the highest participation of private sector in conducting accessible and quality educational programs. Therefore, as it places more emphasis on the expansion of the private sector colleges, there are only 4 constitute colleges of its colleges and 4 joint constitute colleges. It has also been conducting programs for students, establishing a Council for Doctoral Studies at the University. Pokhara University has given affiliation to 58 colleges till date.
