As I embark on my second tenure as dean at the Faculty of Science and Technology of Pokhara University, I am committed to driving progress through faculty empowerment, collaborative excellence, industry partnership, and curricular innovation. Our shared path forward combines optimism with purposeful action to achieve new heights in STEM education and research.
Recognizing the importance of research and lab-based teaching, we will prioritize hands-on learning experiences that enhance academic growth and bridge the gap between theory and practice by establishing research-based laboratories. In an era defined by rapid digitalization and the integration of artificial intelligence, aligning our curriculum with local and contextual knowledge is essential. The “artificial intelligence and data science (BAIDS) program is the prime example of this commitment to excellence” is a powerful claim.
We are committed to promoting mobility and exchange programs that enrich our students’ experiences and broaden their perspectives.
