The CS4ALL Project Team successfully organized a “Seminar on Cybersecurity Awareness” on 9 June 2026 (26 Jestha 2083) at the Seminar Hall, Central Office, Pokhara University, for the community members of Pokhara Metropolitan City–30. The program witnessed the enthusiastic participation of representatives from more than 50 community groups, including various Tol Bikas Sansthas and Aama Samuhas. The seminar aimed to enhance public understanding of cybersecurity threats and promote safe and responsible digital practices among community members.

The awareness session was facilitated by Er. Bhesh Bahadur Thapa, Member of CS4ALL Project, who engaged participants through interactive learning methods supported by audio-visual presentations, practical examples, and discussions on common cyber risks and preventive measures. His presentation effectively highlighted the importance of cyber hygiene, online safety, and the responsible use of digital technologies.
Likewise, Mr. Abiral Gautam, Coordinator of the CS4ALL Student Club, conducted an interactive quiz session for the participants to assess their understanding of the topics covered during the seminar. Encouragingly, most of the participants answered the majority of the questions correctly, indicating that the seminar had been effective in enhancing their awareness and understanding of cybersecurity issues.
On this occasion, certificates were awarded to students who had completed both the online and physical sessions of the Life Long Learning (LLL) Training Module on Cybersecurity. The recognition acknowledged their dedication and active participation in developing cybersecurity knowledge and competencies.
The program concluded with a feedback-sharing session, during which some representatives from the participating community groups expressed their appreciation for the initiative. They emphasized that cybersecurity awareness has become increasingly important in today’s digital society and noted that the seminar had equipped them with practical knowledge and skills to better protect themselves and their families from potential cyber threats.
