Professors from NITTTR Bhopal Visit Pokhara University to Explore Academic Collaborations.

On May 8, 2026, Pokhara University welcomed two distinguished professors from the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, India, for an academic discussion aimed at strengthening cooperation in technical education.

The visiting delegation comprised Dr. Sanjay Agrawal, Dean of Academic Affairs and Head of DCSEE, and Dr. R.K. Kapoor, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Education. They were received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deepanjal Shrestha, Executive Director of the International Relations Center (IRC), Pokhara University. Likewise, Executive Director from the Curriculum Development Center, Assoc Prof Dr. Rabindra Ghimire, and Chief of Planning and Program Division, Assoc. Prof. Er. Prakash Bahadur Adhikari also joined the discussions.

The dialogue focused on potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions. In particular, both sides emphasized the matters related to:

  • Curriculum development and implementation are aligned with outcome-based education.
  • Capacity building and training programs for technical faculty members.
  • Development of learning resources to support modern teaching practices.
  • Joint workshops and collaborative initiatives in curriculum innovation and faculty training.

Following these deliberations, both institutions expressed a strong interest in formalizing cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future. The discussions thus underscored a shared commitment to advancing technical education, fostering academic exchange, and promoting innovation in teaching and learning.
