Handong Global University, Pohang, Korea को अग्रसरता र UNESCO UNITWIN Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea प्रायोजनमा पोखरा विश्वविद्यालयको Information Access Center (IAC) मा Capacity Building for Small & Medium-sized Enterprises नामक विषयमा विश्वविद्यालयका पदाधिकारी र स्कूल अफ बिजनेश, पोविका प्राध्यापकहरूको समुपस्थितिमा एमबिएमा अध्ययरत विद्यार्थीहरूलाई Handong Global University का ३ जना प्राध्यापकहरूले २०६९ चैत १५ गते कक्षा लिनुभयो । उक्त विश्वविद्यालयका Prof. Dr. Daiyon Cho ले Information Technology for Business in Digital Era को बारेमा, Prof. Dr. Kee-Seon Yoo ले Global Challenges and Roles of CEO को बारेमा र Prof. Dr. Jinwon Ahn ले Korean Economic Development: Its Secrets and More को बारेमा कक्षा लिनु भएको थियो ।
Handong Global University को उक्त टोलीले विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपति प्राध्यापक खगेन्द्रप्रसाद भट्टराईसँग नेतृत्व विकासको क्षेत्रमा संयुक्त कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गर्ने विषयमा उपकुलपतिको कार्यकक्ष लेखनाथमा संक्षिप्त विचार विमर्श पनि गरेको थियो ।
Pokhara University(PU) and Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) the two parties find it mutually beneficial to initiate cooperation and partnership in the following areas of interest to both parties:
- The exchange of faculty members, scholars, and students for advanced studies and research;
- The exchange of information, theses, teaching materials, and other technological and scientific literature;
- The collaborative endeavors in scientific and technological researches;
- The organization of bilateral joint symposia, workshops, and conferences;
- The exchange visits by members of faculty of the two institutions and
- The conduct of joint and integrated programs for students.
The MOU was signed by Prof. Khagendra Prasad Bhattarai, Vice Chancellor, on behalf of Pokhara University, Nepal and Jose Paulo E. Campos, Ed.D., President, on behalf of Emilio Aguinaldo College, Ermita, Manila, Philippines on 13 March 2013. Witnesses by Dr. Manbahadur KC, Registrar, on behalf of Pokhara University and Valentino G. Baac, PhD, Vice President for Academic Affairs, on behalf of Emilio Aguinaldo College.
वि.सं. २०६९ चैत्र १४ गते तराई क्षेत्रमा फागु पूर्णिमा मनाईने भएकोले पोखरा विश्वविद्यालयको मिति २०६९ चैत्र ११ गतेको निर्णयानुसार उक्त फागु पूर्णिमाको दिन विश्वविद्यालयमा स्थानीय बिदा दिने निर्णय भएको व्यहोरा सूचित गरिन्छ ।
पोखरा विश्वविद्यालयको व्यवस्थापन संकायको डीन पदमा कार्यरत प्रा.डा. गीता प्रधान २०६९ चैत्र १ गतेदेखि सेवा निवृत्त हुनुभयो । उहाँ वि.सं. २०६५ चैत्र २ गते उक्त पदमा ४ वर्षका लागि नियुक्त हुनुभएको थियो । डीन पदबाट सेवा निवृत्त हुनुभएका प्रधानलाई विश्वविद्यालयले चैत्र ४ गते एक औपचारिक कार्यक्रमको आयोजना गरी बिदाइ गर्यो ।
उक्त बिदाइ कार्यक्रमलाई सम्बोधन गर्दै पोखरा विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपति प्रा. खगेन्द्रप्रसाद भट्टराईले बिदाइ शब्द त्यति राम्रो नलागे पनि निश्चित सेवा अवधि पुरा गरी बिदाइ हुनु भएका प्रा.डा. गीता प्रधानले विश्वविद्यालयमा रही इमान्दारीपूर्वक कर्तव्यनिष्ठ भएर आफ्नो जिम्मेवारी पुरा गर्नुभएको उल्लेख गर्नुभयो । उपकुलपति भट्टराईले आर्थिक लेनदेन, मितव्ययीता एवम् विश्वविद्यालयको स्ट्रक्चर आदिमा सुधार ल्याउने विषयमा उहाँले धेरै गृहकार्य गर्नुभएको र ती सबै सकारात्मक पाठको रूपमा सबैले लिनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
उक्त बिदाई कार्यक्रममा आफ्नो मन्तव्य राख्दै प्रा.डा. गीता प्रधानले पोखरा विश्वविद्यालयमा रही कार्य गर्दा सबैको सकारात्मक सहयोग पाएको उल्लेख गर्दै विश्वविद्यालय जस्तो वृहत निकायमा समूह बनाएर कार्य गर्न सके विश्वविद्यालयले अपेक्षित फड्को पार गर्न सक्ने आफूलाई अनुभूति भएको विचार व्यक्त गर्नु भयो । उहाँले विश्वविद्यालयको हितका लागि बन्द हड्ताल सबैले सधंैका लागि बन्द गरी विश्वविद्यालयको शैक्षिक पात्रोलाई नियमित गर्नुपर्ने बताउनु भयो । स्वदेशमा विदेशी विश्वविद्यालयहरूको सम्बन्धन भित्रिने क्रम बढ्दै गएको उल्लेख गर्दै प्रा.डा. गीता प्रधानले प्रतिस्पर्धामा जान पनि शैक्षिक पात्रोलाई नियमित गरे मात्र सम्भव रहेको उल्लेख गर्नु भयो । उहाँले विश्वविद्यालयलाई दक्षिण एसियाको नमूना विश्वविद्यालयको रूपमा चिनाउन अध्यापन र कार्यरत शिक्षक कर्मचारीको वृत्ति विकास र सुविधामा विश्वविद्यालयले विशेष ध्यान दिनु जरूरी छ भन्नु भयो । बिदाइ कार्यक्रममा प्रा. डा. गीता प्रधानलाई मायाको चिनो प्रदान गरिएको थियो । कार्यक्रममा निकायका प्रमुखहरू, कार्यक्रम संयोजकहरू आदिको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो ।

यस विश्वविद्यालयको ले.न.पा. वडा नं. १२ मुसेटुडाँ स्थित कि.नं. २१२८ को जग्गामा रहेका सिसौं तथा खयर जातका (सिसौं-११ र खयर-१४२ जम्मा=१५३ सुखड खडा रुखहरु जे जस्तो अवस्थामा छ , सोही अवस्थामा लिलाम बडाबड गरि ब्रि्री गर्नु पर्ने भएकोले यो सूचना प्रकाशित गरिएको छ । इच्छुक व्यक्ति, संघ, संस्था, र्फम वा कम्पनीले यो सूचना राष्टिय दैनिक पत्रिकामा प्रथम पटक प्रकाशित भएको मितिले १५ दिन भित्र सिलबन्दी बोलपत्र खरिद गरी तोकिएको स्थानमा बुझाउन आव्हान गरिन्छ ।

On February 4, 2013 Vice Chancellor of Pokhara University Prof. Khagendra Prasad Bhattarai and Director Prof. K Radhakrishnan of Shree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Science and Medical Technology signed an Memorandum of Understanding at Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. On this occasion the head of Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies, Prof. K R Thankappan and Mr. Purna Chandra Sharma Executive Director of International Center of Pokhara University also represented from the respective institutes. Mr. Tulsi Ram Bhandari, PhD student of SCTIMST was also present in the signing ceremony.
Pokhara University (PU) located in Kaski, Nepal, agrees to join the network of universities of UNITWIN (University Twinning and Networking) on Capacity Building of Sustainable Development in Developing Countries for which Handong Global University (HGU) located in Pohang, Repulic of Korea is the host University. As part of the program, PU and HGU wish to enhance relations between the two universities and to develop academic and cultural exchange programs in the areas of education, research, and other activities and agree to cooperate and work together towards the internationalization of higher education and the goal of the UNITWIN programme. The areas of cooperation include any programs offered at either university which are felt to be desirable and feasible for the development and strengthening of cooperative relationships between the two institutions and helpful for UNITWIN Programme. However, any specific programs shall be subject to mutul consent, availability of funds, and approval of each university. Such programs may include:
- Exchange of faculty members
- Exchange of students
- Joint research projects
- Joint degree programs
The terms of such mutual assistance and cooperation shall be discusssed and agreed upon in writing by the appropriate responsible officers of both parties prior to the initiation of any particular program or activity. This Memorandum of Understanding between Pokhara University located in Pokhara, Nepal and Shinawatra University located in Pathum thani, Thailand, is made with the objective of facilitating mutual friendship, academic research and educational co-operation. Purpose of this Agreement This general agreement will provide a general and common framework for any further agreements that will be made on specific forms of mutual collaboration. Different Activities of Mutual Co-operation in order to promote the co-operation these two institutions may undertake various activities such as those listed below. The details of the co-operation will be specified through separate negotiations.
- Management of academic and research administration in various programs of study
- Promotion of credit mobility between the two institutes in accordance with the total number of credits earned by a student registered in required courses. Those transferred credits shall be recognized by the the institute a student transfers to. Hence, each institute shall specify the principles and details of credit transfer based on appropriate academic quality and standards.
- Human resources development for both institutes by exchanging and accumulating training in skills, experience and knowlege of various types and levels,
- Exchange of students and internships
- Exchange of information and publications
- Student recruitment
- Joint program, research projects, including conferences, meetings, study trips, and project consultancy; each case to be discussed separately,
- Cultural exchange program and logistic services,
- Other Activities mutually agreed upon by these two institutions.
The MOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Voradej Chandarasorn, President, on behalf of Shinawatra University Thailand and Prof. Khagendra Prasad Bhattarai, Vice Chancellor on behalf of Pokhara University on 1st October 2012.
