The Leading University Project for International Cooperation (LUPIC) convened the Steering Committee Meeting, Community Stakeholder Meeting, and Annual Performance Review Meeting on June 1 at the Central Hall of Pokhara University.
The program brought together around 30 participants, including 13 community stakeholders and 20 steering committee stakeholders. Senior officials of Pokhara University, including the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, Executive Directors, and the School Director of Health and Allied Sciences, also attended, reflecting strong institutional support for the project.
During the Program, Assistant Professor Pushpa Poudel, BSc Nursing Program Coordinator of Pokhara University and LUPIC Project Coordinator, presented the overall project progress, highlighting the achievements in strengthening nursing education. Likewise, Assistant Professor Sunita Sharma provided an update on the Community Health Promotion research, outlining achievements and future activities.
The meeting served as a platform for reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and setting future directions for nursing education and community health initiatives. Active participation from community stakeholders further reinforced collaboration for upcoming phases.
LUPIC is being operated as a collaboration between Pokhara University and Inha University, Republic of Korea.
