Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
For Academic Collaboration between Pokhara University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal, and Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS), Dhulikhel, Nepal
The Parties recognize the importance of collaborative academic initiatives to strengthen institutional capacity in climate and disaster risk education. In this context, both universities agree to collaborate under the Risk-E-Scape Program, a short-course-based academic initiative aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills, and applied learning related to climate risk, resilience, and sustainability.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishes a framework for cooperation between the Faculty of Health Sciences, Pokhara University and KUSMS for the design, delivery, and implementation of the RISK-E-SCAPE short course.
Purpose of the MoU:
The purpose of this MoU is to formalize collaboration between PU and KUSMS in relation to:
1. Joint implementation of the RISK-E-SCAPE short course
2. Academic and institutional cooperation in teaching and learning
3. Student and faculty engagement under the RISK-E-SCAPE project
Areas of Collaboration
The Parties agree to collaborate in the following areas:
1. Implementation of the RISK-E-SCAPE Short Course
2. Teaching and Academic Support
3. Student Enrollment and Participation
4. Student and Faculty Engagement
5. Capacity Building Activities
6. Future Academic Collaboration
