Science Programs

Eligibility

Master of Computer Engineering. :- BE with 2/4 CGPA or second division or above from the Universities recognized by the Pokhara University.

Master of Science in Computer Science. :- Bachelors degree in any branch in engineering, Computer Science and Bachelor of Science (Physics/Statistics/Math) with 2/4 CGPA or Second Division or above from the Universities recognized by the Pokhara University.

Master of Science in Construction Management. :- BE Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Geotechnical, Hydropower and Architecture with 2.0 CGPA or 45 percent from Universities recognized by the Pokhara University.

Master of Science in Environmental Management. :- Bachelor degree in Science, Forestry, Agriculture and Engineering and other technical subjects or equivalent from Universities recognized by the Pokhara University.

Master of Science in Information System Engineering. :- The candidate must have four years Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer/Software/Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication/ Electrical and Electronics or its equivalent from recognized institutions with a score of at least second division or 2/4 CGPA.

Master of Science in Structural Engineering. :- The candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering a minimum of 16 years formal education (12 years of schooling plus four years of undergraduate studies) having minimum CGPA of 2/4 or equivalent at the Bachelor’s degree level.

Master of Science in Hydropower Engineering. :- The candidate must have four years Bachelors of Engineering degree in Civil or its equivalent from recognized institutions with a score of at least second division or 2/4 CGPA.

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in Power System. :- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 16 years formal education (12 years of schooling plus four years of bachelor) securing a minimum of second division or 2/4 CGPA.

Master of Science in Public Health and Disaster Engineering. :- The candidate must have four years Bachelors of Engineering (Civil, Civil & Rural, Agriculture, Hydropower), B. Architecture and equivalent degree from recognized institutions with a score of at least second division or 2/4 CGPA.

Master of Science in Transportation Engineering and Management. :- Candidates must have second division or 2/4 CGPA in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by Pokhara University.

Master of Science in Natural Resources Management. :- Applicant must have minimum of 15 years formal education (12 years of schooling plus three years of undergraduate) in engineering and narural & applied sciences. Furthermore, the applicant must have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or 45 percent in undergraduate level.

Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Water Resources Management. :- “Bachelor’s degree with at least second division having a minimum of 15 years of education in Science and Technology (Engineering, Basic Sciences, Applied and Natural Sciences) from a recognized university/institution.”
