Call for application to attend the PURC workshop on “Streamlining Academic Research and Innovation in Pokhara University (SARIPU) 2022”

Pokhara University Research Center (PURC) is going to organize the PURC Annual Review and Planning Workshop with the theme of “Streamlining Academic Research and Innovation in Pokhara University (SARIPU) 2022”. The workshop is targeted to the participants from the RMCs of the academic institutions (Constituent, Joint-Constituent, and Affiliated) of Pokhara University. The nominated participants (one from each institution) are informed to register for the workshop as indicated below.
Program highlights (tentative)
The three day’s intensive workshop will host invited in-depth talks followed by the review of RMC activities conducted in the last fiscal year (2078/79) and planning for the current fiscal year (2079/80). The key topics of discussion, but not limited to, are:
- Transformation of Higher Education in Nepal (PURC)
- Roadmap for Research and Innovation in STEM in Nepal (NAST Nepal)
- The Benchmarks of Research and Innovation in Universities (PURC-RP)
- Revitalizing Partnership with Academia to Achieve SDGs (UNDP Nepal)
- Research and Innovation Policy and Priorities in Nepal (PRI Nepal)
- Promoting Academic Research and Innovation in Nepalese Universities (UGC Nepal)
- Transformation of Academic Research and Innovation Activities in Nepalese Academia (PURC-RP)
- Ethics and Integrity in Health Research and Innovation (NHRC Nepal)
- Research Funding and Collaboration (GPAST)
- Writing and Publishing Research (PURC-RP)
- RMC presentations on review of Fiscal Year 2078/79
- RMC presentations on planning of Fiscal Year 2079/80
Participation modality
One participant (only) from each RMC can participate the workshop. The workshop has been planned in a participatory modality where participants are expected to pay participation fee (NRs. 9,000.00) and the deficit shall be covered by the PURC, Pokhara University. The participation fee will include the workshop kit, breakfast and lunch during the workshop. Participants should arrange accommodation personally.
