Central Office

The Central Office of Pokhara University, located at Dhungepatan, Lekhnath, Kaski, serves as the university’s administrative and academic hub. Situated on “Block A” of a 114-ropani area, its foundation stone was laid on Jestha 13, 2057 BS by Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, and the building was inaugurated on Magh 7, 2058 BS by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, costing NPR 11.3 million.

Expansion efforts included constructing a new building, initiated on Bhadra 7, 2070 BS by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Khagendra Prasad Bhattarai and inaugurated on Falgun 9, 2073 BS by President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Built under the UGC Matching Fund Grant, it cost NPR 59.2 million.

Further expansion transformed the administrative building into a four-story structure with added floors and an elevator, completed on Ashwin 7, 2081 BS, at a cost of NPR 112.218 million. These developments highlight the university’s commitment to modern infrastructure and academic excellence.
