Professor from Inha University Visits Pokhara University to Strengthen Nursing Education

Pokhara University welcomed Dr. Eun-Jin Lee, Professor at Inha University, Republic of Korea, and Principal Investigator of the Leading University Project for International Cooperation (LUPIC), on 18 December 2025. Dr. Lee, who specializes in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, visited the University as part of the ongoing project aimed at advancing nursing education in Pokhara.

The LUPIC project, launched in 2024 with a duration of 84 months, focuses on promoting public health by strengthening nursing education capabilities, improving the teaching-learning system, and enhancing the overall ecosystem of nursing education institutions in Pokhara. The initiative seeks to raise the quality of nursing education and contribute to sustainable improvements in healthcare.

During her visit, Dr. Lee held discussions with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ajay Thapa, Registrar of Pokhara University, Prof. Dr. Bishnu Raj Tiwari, Dean of Health Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deepanjal Shrestha, Executive Director of the International Relations Center. The conversation centered on mutual collaboration and the  progress of the project.

Dr. Lee also visited the project office at Pokhara University, where she interacted with project members and shared insights on advancing nursing education. Her visit marked an important step in strengthening academic ties and fostering international cooperation in the field of health sciences.
