MOU between PU & Handong Global University

Pokhara University (PU) located in Kaski, Nepal, agrees to join the network of universities of UNITWIN (University Twinning and Networking) on Capacity Building of Sustainable Development in Developing Countries for which Handong Global University (HGU) located in Pohang, Repulic of Korea is the host University. As part of the program, PU and HGU wish to enhance relations between the two universities and to develop academic and cultural exchange programs in the areas of education, research, and other activities and agree to cooperate and work together towards the internationalization of higher education and the goal of the UNITWIN programme. The areas of cooperation include any programs offered at either university which are felt to be desirable and feasible for the development and strengthening of cooperative relationships between the two institutions and helpful for UNITWIN Programme. However, any specific programs shall be subject to mutul consent, availability of funds, and approval of each university. Such programs may include:

  • Exchange of faculty members
  • Exchange of students
  • Joint research projects
  • Joint degree programs

The terms of such mutual assistance and cooperation shall be discusssed and agreed upon in writing by the appropriate responsible officers of both parties prior to the initiation of any particular program or activity.
